AGREEMENT WITH IFAD TO BE SIGNED IN JULY ON NORTH-WESTERN REGIONS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Signing of the agreement with the International Fund for the Agricultural Development (IFAD) on the Azerbaijan’s north-western regions development project has been scheduled in the second half of July.

To this end, the Fund’s representatives’ visit is expected on 17-19 July, the Ministry of Agriculture told Trend.

The Fund is expected to allocate means in the amount of $ 25 million for the project implementation. The project’s implementation time is 5 years.

The project will cover the north-western regions of Azerbaijan and promote improvement of the life level of over 15,000 people. The works will commence during 2 months after the contract signing.
