In October 2005 the official rate of the Azerbaijan’s national currency continued to fall. For the month the rate of the national currency fell for 4 manat points, which enabled dollar to strengthen by 0,87% against manat, Trend reports.
For January-October 2005 strengthening of the national currency was 306 AZM or 6,24%, which enabled to finish the reporting period with the exchange rate of 4597 AZM for $1.
In October the manat rate started with 4593 AZM for 1 US dollar and finished it at the level 4597 AZM for 1 USD.
The exchange rate of the national currency fell by 0.15% or 7.09 manat points, from 4589,91 AZM to 4597.00 AZM for 1 USD, the Baku Inter-bank currency exchange told Trend.
