Israeli experts to works up a report on Azerbaijan’s dry regions

Israeli experts will work up a report on the state of the dry regions of Azerbaijan. The work was discussed at the meeting of the experts with Ismat Abbasov, the head of the Agriculture Ministry, the Ministry told Trend.

The meeting concerned perspectives of the relations between the countries in agriculture.

The Ministry noted that the visit of the mission on estimation of the Israeli International Cooperation Program lasted from 19 to 23 December. During the visit the specialists visited the regions Imishli, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Saatly and Salyan to estimate the aridity level.

The reports including recommendations will be submitted in 2006. OSCE-financed projects on development of dry regions will be drawn up on the base of this report.
