The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry `s Yolnagliyyatservis department `s tender commission is analyzing the financial proposals for the tender project to define the consulting company that will engage in the land purchase and population removal from the 22km part of the Alyat-Astara highway (80-102km), the Ministry told Trend.
Arari (Germany), Koks consult (Germany) and Scott Wilson (UK) took part in the competition. Results of the tender will be announced the next month.
Tender is held with the World Bank credit ($224m). The total length of the highway is 196km.
Asian Bank for the Reconstruction will participate in financing beside the WB; it will provide finances ($116m) for the Massalli-Astara highway ` s part reconstruction (57km). Azerbaijani government will provide $56 and $20 respectively for the both projects.
