On May 10, 2006 the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan celebrates opening of new bridge on Pirsaat River in Shamakhi region.
Ziya Mammadov, the Minister of Transport will participate in the event, according to information provided by the Ministry.
The bridge built on Shamakhi-Chukhuryurt-Gizmeydan highway is 150 meters in length and 10 meters in width. Total cost of the project amounted to 1.6 million AZN.
Construction of the bridge began in June 2005 according to instruction of Azerbaijan president. The bridge was designed by Texnomost and construction was implemented by Korpubinatikinti
