Representatives of Azerbaijan participated in an annual meeting organized by International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas, the Agriculture Ministry told Trend.
Attending the gathering held in Aleppo, Syria, were General Director of the Scientific-Agrarian Center of the Agriculture Ministry, Asad Musayev, also ICARDAs coordinator in Azerbaijan.
The gathering with the participation of representatives from the Central Asia and South Caucasus discussed the work done so far, the achievements and measures scheduled for the subsequent years with support of ICARDA.
Azerbaijan has experience of cooperation with ICARDA under the stable development of agriculture since 1995.
The organization assists Azerbaijan in the sphere of genetic reserves, selection and training of personnel.
