The Baku International Sea Port of Azerbaijan is to complete the reconstruction of the sea port building and put it in commission till the end of May, the Baku Sea Port Deputy General Manager Vagif Aliyev. The Baku Sea Port reconstruction prior cost adds up to some $1,5 m.
However, as a representative of the Baku International Sea Port pointed out the final cost of the project will be defined after the reconstruction works are completed. The necessity of the sea port reconstruction emerged after the 2000 earthquake and also connected with the raise of the Caspian Sea level that caused some infrastructure objects destruction.
