(autoinsidernews) - The new MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S went on sale from this weekend. All 154 U.K. dealerships are holding launch events to unveil the new car. With the order books almost full for 2006, many customers will have to wait until 2007 to own one. MINI says that about 4000 orders have already been taken for the new car, equalling the number from the lead up to the launch of the first-generation new MINI in July 2001, reports Trend.
The all-new MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S will debut in the U.S. early in the first quarter of 2007.
