Azerbaijan, Baku /corr Trend I.Khalilova / Rufat Mammadov, Executive Director of the Coordinating Bureau of EU Tacis Program, informed that a meeting of the Subcommittee on Trade, Investments and legal Issues and the Subcommittee on Energy and Transport of the Azerbaijan-European Union Committee will be held in Baku at the beginning of April (approximately on 2-3 April) within the framework of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
According to Mammadov, at the present time the agenda of the gathering and delegations from European commissions are being coordinated with the European experts. It is planned to consider the implementation of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union, tasks set by the National Action Plan within the framework of EU's European Neighborhood Policy. The economic cooperation will embrace the macroeconomic situation in Azerbaijan and the EU, the bilateral cooperation in the sphere of trade, transport, energy and investment opportunities.
