Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Khalilova / Ranshar Yunusov, the Director-General of Ansher Capital company of Uzbekistan, a member of the Ansher Group, will visit Baku from 9 to 16 to study the prospects of cooperation in the security and real estate markets of Azerbaijan.
In connection with the company's plans to expand its operations at CIS markets, Ansher Capital views the Azerbaijani market as prospective. "We are prepared to invest out of our own assets in the stock capital, particularly, in stocks and banks and companies, as well as to participate in the property market," the company announced.
At the initial stage the amount of investments could range from $1mln to $5mln. At present Ansher Capital participates in the stock market in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Georgia and is one of the shareholders of the Bank of Georgia.
Investments to be made in Georgia are in the amount similar to that planned for the Azerbaijani market, whilst this amount is higher in Kazakhstan. Investment assets belonging to Ansher Capital companies in Uzbekistan exceed this sum by 10 times.
