Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / The expert groups of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan signed an intergovernmental agreement on free trade, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development reported. Once the document is signed, exporting and importing between the two countries will be free of custom payments.
Azerbaijan is interested in signing the agreement with Tajikistan, as today the export operations exceed import. The experts of both sides agreed on ten documents, which are planned to be signed during the upcoming visit of the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmanov, to Baku scheduled for 13-14 August.
