E.Ismayilov / Heydar Aliyev Baku Deep-Water Jacket Plant of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will finish construction of double-unit platform of Neft Daslari 25- 21 in September and it will enable to increase oil production on the same offshore field, the plant said on 22 August.

Height of the double-unit platform is 27m and it is planned to be installed in the water depth of 17m. It is planned to drill 12 wells from the platform.
These measures are realized within the framework of the Azerbaijani President's decree on increase of production volume at the Neft Daslari Oil and Gas Production Unit (OGPU) from 312,000 tons of oil to 1.2mln tons. In 2008, total volume of oil production at the field will amount to 936,400 tons. The OGEU plans to increase production to 1mln tons in 2009.
Earlier, new double-unit platform of Neft Daslari 23-87 was put into exploitation on the Neft Daslari offshore field. The platform was installed in the depth of 24.5m and 12 wells will be drilled from this platform. Drilling work management of Neft Daslari has drilled three wells.
Double-unit platform of Neft Daslari 24-15 is being constructed on the field and it covers drilling of 12 wells. Both units of the platform were fastened in the water bottom. Areas were installed for helicopter and piers. The platform and the first well will be put into exploitation in December.
