Georgian ex-ambassador to Kazakhstan Zurab Shurgaiya may be appointed to senior positions in the Batumi oil terminal, a source in the KazMunaiGaz company told Trend .
Former Ambassador of Georgia to Kazakhstan Zurab Shurgaiya completed his mission on Feb. 1, may be appointed to senior positions in the Batumi oil terminal, the source said.
Shurgaiya may be appointed as general director of the port of Batumi and the Deputy Director of Batumi Industrial Holdin, the source said. The Batumi Industrial Holding Company is the operator of the terminal and the port of Batumi.
KazTransOil JSC is a subsidiary of national oil and gas company KazMunaiGaz that is a hundred-percent owner of Batumi oil terminal on the Black Sea coast of Georgia.
