The International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts an increase in the world oil demand at 1.6 million bpd up to 86.5 million bpd in 2010 compared to 84.9 million bpd in 2009.
Based on IEA report on oil market published on Thursday, in 2010 the increase in oil demand will be observed due to the growth of demand in non-OECD countries.
In January, the volume of world oil supply fell by 45,000 bpd to 85.8 million bpd, IEA reported.
Non-OPEC countries' oil supply will amount to 51.6 million bpd, which is higher by 120,000 bpd than projected earlier.
Based on IEA estimates, in January OPEC's oil production rose by 105,000 bpd up to 29.1 million bpd.
