SOCAR's president Rovnag Abdullayev gave orders in connection with the early expansion of the chemical industry, increase of varieties and volume of products at a meeting held at the production association of Azerkimya.
It will reduce imports, SOCAR said.
A decision to expand the capacity of petrochemical complex was made at the meeting.
SOCAR President highlighted the importance of complete delivery of necessary technical equipment, mobilizing all the forces and capabilities for high-quality repair of major technological equipment of Azerkimya's enterprises.
Abdullayev also gave instructions with the construction of installations for the cooling water.
SOCAR's leadership has examined the workshop on production of consumer goods, as well as marketing. The aim was to increase the diversity of products, improve quality and design.
