Over 20.2 million tons of oil produced on ACG

BP company (operator of a project to develop the fields Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG)), produced about 20.2 million tons of oil (150mln barrels) in the first half of 2010, the BP company said.

BP company (operator of a project to develop the fields Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG)), produced about 20.2 million tons of oil (150mln barrels) in the first half of 2010, the BP company said.

Daily production of oil from this block amounted to 827,600 barrels.

During the report period, BP's operating costs on ACG project amounted to $189.7 million and capital costs  - $774 million. According to forecast, in 2010 operating costs for the ACG project will amount to $587 million and capital costs - $1,584 billion.

In 2010, the company is expected to produce about 42.1 million tons of oil compared to over 40.3 million tons in 2009 in this block, the BP company said.

Daily production of oil from this block will amount to 854,000 barrels in 2010.

Shareholders of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli development project are: BP (operator - 34.1%), Chevron (10.2%), SOCAR (10%), INPEX (10%), Statoil (8.6%), ExxonMobil (8%), TPAO (6.8%), Devon (5.6%), ITOCHU (3.9%), Hess (2.7%).
