SOCAR Georgia Petroleum has opened two new petrol stations under the brand of SOCAR in Georgia on Friday, SOCAR said.

SOCAR Georgia Petroleum has opened two new petrol stations under the brand of SOCAR in Georgia on Friday, SOCAR said.

Thus, the total number of SOCAR petrol stations reached 48.
The opening ceremony was attended by the head of SOCAR Energy Georgia (SOCAR's subsidiary in Georgia) Mahir Mammadov, representatives of executive authorities of Gurjaani and Telavi .
By the end of this year, SOCAR plans to increase the number of petrol stations in Georgia to 60.
Co-founders of SOCAR Energy Georgia are: SOCAR - 51 percent, Petro-Trans FZCO - 24.5 percent and Ivan Chkhartishvili - 24.5 percent.
