Turkmenistan auctions over 540,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned over 540,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange on Wednesday.

Turkmenistan auctioned over 540,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange on Wednesday.

The country put as stock trades 50,000 tons of liquefied gas, 30,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, over 140,000 tons of gasoline, about 150,000 tons of diesel fuel, 150,000 tons of fuel oil and 20,000 tons of aviation kerosene.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded 22 transactions. Companies from UAE, Afghanistan, U.S, the Seychelles purchased different brands of diesel fuel, A-80 petrol, base oil, aviation kerosene.

The representatives from Azerbaijan, Great Britain, China, Russia, Switzerland and Liechtenstein are the traditional participants of the auction. Total amount of contracts, including on sale of oil products exceeds $45 million.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
