Iran to issue $4.5 billion bonds to finance South Pars

The National Iranian Oil Company will issue $4.5 billion-bonds on South Pars joint field in near future, SHANA quoted Deputy Oil Minister Ahmad Ghalebani as saying.
"After we receive necessary permits, $4.5 billion-bonds will be issued to provide financial sources for South Pars joint field soon," he said.
The National Iranian Oil Company attracted $4 billion-investment bonds in South Pars during the first four months of the current year (started on March 20, 2011).
More than $15 billion will be invested in South Pars projects by late 2011, he added.
Iran 's South Pars oil and gas field is one of the largest fields in the world.
The South Pars oil and gas field covers an area of 3,700 square kilometers. It is located 3,000 meters below the seabed.
