Sixty-four thousand subscribers once again have no electricity due to hurricane type winds and snowfall in Georgia.

Snowfall and wind damaged power lines in different regions of Georgia, the Energo-pro Georgia company told Trend on Thursday.

"About 64.526 thousand subscribers have no electricity throughout Georgia. Problems were created by exceptionally heavy snowfalls in the western part of Georgia and by a hurricane in the eastern part," the company said.

Restoration work is underway, but progress is weather dependant.
