Gas supply to Kazakh city restored

The situation with gas supply in Kazakh city of Kyzylorda is connected to the accident on the Akshabulak joint venture field of KazGerMunai has now gone back to normal, a spokesperson for KazTransGas Aimak said. State utilities and all boilers began using black oil.

The situation with gas supply in Kazakh city of Kyzylorda is connected to the accident on the Akshabulak joint venture field of KazGerMunai has now gone back to normal, a spokesperson for KazTransGas Aimak said. State utilities and all boilers began using black oil.
"The gas preparation and transmission UPG-2 unit was put back into commission. The total supply of marketable gas to the city of Kyzylorda amounted to 45,000 cubic metres per hour on February 4, 2012.
After the gas pipeline Akshabulak Kyzylorda was filled, the supply was restored," a statement said.
