An unexpected oil eruption at an oil well in Gachsaran, southwest of Iran, has been curbed, reports said.
Mehr news agency reported that during drilling operations over the well No. 373 in Gachsaran on Friday, the drilling rig has unexpectedly hit an oil layer, which caused oil eruption.
The experts of the National Iranian Oil Company have not expected to reach crude oil or natural gas at the depth where the drilling operations were carried out.
