Oil prices increased by 6.9 per cent in Kazakhstan in September, the Kazakh Statistics Agency said today.
"Last month, oil prices increased by 6.9 per cent, diesel fuel by 2.9 per cent, fuel oil by 2.2 per cent and coal 0.4 per cent," the agency said. "The price of metal ore decreased by two per cent, petrol 0.6 per cent and natural gas by 0.2 per cent."
The prices on ferrous metals over the last month declined by three per cent, Ferro-alloys by 2.3 per cent, raw aluminium two per cent and zinc and copper 1.6 per cent. Precious metals increased by 3.4 per cent.
The price on wheat flour increased by 12.5 per cent, rice - by 12.2 per cent, pasta - seven per cent, rye flour by 3.3 per cent, cereals by 1.5 per cent, bread 1.4 per cent, poultry 1.3 per cent, vegetable oil - one per cent. However meat became cheaper by one per cent and dairy products by 0.4 per cent.
The prices in the mining industry increased by 4.9 per cent and manufacturing by 0.5 per cent in September compared to August. The price on manufactured products increased 3.7 per cent, while production services cheapened by 0.2 per cent.
