Caspian Geophysical company will begin two dimensional seismic surveys on Bulla Deniz offshore field soon, a source on the oil and gas market told Trend today.
A source said that the contract between the parties has been signed. The work will be conducted from Gilavar geophysical vessel.
"2D seismic will be conducted on the area," a source said. "The mobilization work is underway. The work will begin in the near future."
Earlier, SOCAR conducted sonar planning and bathymetry at Bulla Deniz along with other fields.
The Bulla Deniz Field has been exploited since 1975.
But according to SOCAR geologists, gas production can be increased significantly.
SOCAR includes the Azneft production association (the companies producing oil and gas both on and offshore), the Azerkimya industrial association (chemical enterprises) and Azerigaz industrial association (gas distribution).
