Almaty will host the tenth International Youth Oil & Gas Forum 'OFFSHORE. DIVE INTO THE FUTURE', organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers at the Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev (KNTU SPE Student Chapter) on April 13-14, the event's organising committee said.
"The forum contributes to improving professional knowledge and skills in the field of oil and gas, increasing the potential of students, as well as forming an open dialogue platform between professionals and students. Forums are a great opportunity for students to demonstrate their research work," the organising committee said.
Forum participants and guests will learn about the latest developments and trends in the development of the international oil and gas industry. The event annually attracts the best young students from the technical universities of Kazakhstan, CIS and other foreign countries.
The international conference within the forum will cover the following main topics: geology, geophysics, exploration, development and production, drilling, oil and gas processing, transportation of oil and gas, economy and management of oil and gas and projects in offshore fields.
