The volume of gas exports in Kazakhstan amounted to 9.062 billion cubic meters in January-October, 2013 compared to 9.242 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2012, the national dispatch center of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
In October, 2013, gas exports in the country amounted to 915 million cubic meters compared to 998 million cubic meters in the same month of last year. Thus, in October, 2013, exports of gas in the country amounted to 24.2 percent under production of 3.777 billion cubic meters.
Imports of gas in the country in January-October, 2013 amounted to 2.225 billion cubic meters compared to 2.031 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2012. In October, 2013, imports of natural gas in the country amounted to 180 million cubic meters, which is 23.6 percent less than the previous month and 41.6 percent less than in October, 2012.
