The Turkish state pipeline company Botas imported 38.42 billion cubic meters of gas from a variety of sources in 2013 compared to 43.09 billion cubic meters in 2012, Botas said today.
Turkey also imports gas from Azerbaijan which is supplied via the South Caucasus gas pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum).
Additionally, Botas exported 694 million cubic meters of gas in 2013 compared to 622 million cubic meters in 2012.
Over 37.96 billion cubic meters of gas were sold on Turkey's domestic market in 2013 compared to 41.44 billion cubic meters in 2012.
