KazMunayGas significantly reduces profit

KazMunayGas Kazakh national oil and gas company has significantly reduced profit in the first quarter of 2015, said the consolidated financial report of the company published on the website of the Kazakh Stock Exchange KASE.
The profit of KazMunayGas has exceeded 10.169 billion tenge for the first quarter of 2015 compared to 165,178 billion tenge (186.05 tenge = $1) in the same period in 2014, according to the company's report.
Operating profit of the company in January-March 2015 amounted to 278.318 million tenge compared with 94.6 billion tenge in the same period of 2014.
The company's revenue in the first quarter of 2015 amounted to almost 569.714 billion tenge. In the same period of 2014, the revenues of KazMunayGas amounted to 804.144 billion tenge.
The company's capital has decreased from 4.417 trillion tenge at the beginning of 2015 to 4.439 trillion tenge at the end of the first quarter of 2015.
The total volume of short-term and long-term assets has decreased from 8.839 trillion tenge at the beginning of the reporting period to 8.579 trillion tenge at the end of the reporting period.
KazMunayGas National Company JSC is Kazakh national operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons. 100 percent of shares of KazMunayGas NC JSC belong to the state through the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund JSC.
Profit of KazMunayGas for 2014 amounted to 199.215 billion tenge compared to 488.642 billion tenge in 2013.
