Azerbaijan produced 3.52 million tons of oil and gas condensate in January 2016 or 3.9 percent less than in the same period of 2015, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee's report as of January 2016 said.
This is while 41.69 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan in 2015, compared to 41.9 million tons in 2014.
The major part of oil production accounts for the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of oil and gas fields.
The tank gas production totaled 1.6 billion cubic meters (bcm) in Azerbaijan in January 2016 or 10.5 percent less than in January 2015, the report said.
This is while the tank gas production hit 19.72 bcm in Azerbaijan in 2015 compared to 18.7 bcm in 2014.
