Kazakh KazTransOil group of companies transshipped almost 56.58 million tons of oil in 2016, the company said in a message Jan. 30.
This is 186,000 tons higher than the target plan for 2016, but 4.43 million tons less than in 2015.
The volume of oil transportation and transshipment by KazTransOil’s pipelines separately amounted to almost 43.8 million tons, which is 106,000 tons higher than the target plan, but 3.74 million tons less than in 2015.
The volume of oil transportation by KazTransOil’s pipelines to the domestic refineries reached almost 14.39 million tons. It is 131,000 tons higher than the target plan for 2016, but 8,000 tons less compared to 2015. Oil transportation to Atyrau Refinery amounted to 4.67 million tons, a 101,000 decrease compared to 2015.
Oil transportation to Shymkent Refinery reached almost 4.5 million tons, a 48,000 tons increase compared to 2015. Oil transportation to Pavlodar Refinery hit almost 4.6 million tons, a 206,000 decrease compared to 2015. Oil transportation to Bitumen Plant amounted to 624,000 tons, a 251,000 tons increase compared to 2015.
The volume of oil transportation by Atyrau-Samara section of Uzen-Atyrau-Samara pipeline reached 15.02 million tons in 2016, which is 678,000 tons less than in 2015.
The volume of oil transshipment to Atasu-Alashankou pipeline reached 10.07 million tons, which is 1.73 million less than in 2015.
The volume of oil supplies to the Port of Aktau by KazTransOil’s pipelines for further transportation by tankers reached almost 2.2 million tons, which is 685,000 tons less than in 2015.
The volume of oil transshipment to the CPC pipeline amounted 3.02 million tons, or 244,000 tons more than in 2015.
The volume of oil transportation by Kazakhstani section of TON-2 pipeline reached 7.65 million tons or 685,000 tons more than in 2015.
The volume of oil transportation by pipelines of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline Ltd amounted to 14.09 million tons, a 1.78 million tons decrease compared to 2015.
The volume of oil transportation by pipeline of North-West Pipeline Company MunaiTas hit 4.62 million tons or 876,000 tons more than in 2015.
The volume of oil and petroleum products transshipment by Batumi Terminals Limited reached 3.38 million tons or 239,000 tons less than in 2015.
KazTransOil is Kazakhstan’s national operator of the main oil pipelines. The company operates a network of 5,400 kilometers long main oil pipelines and 2,000 kilometers long water pipelines.
