Iran’s gasoline output down 8 ml/d due to refinery maintenance

Iran’s gasoline output decreased by 8 million liters per day (ml/d) due to maintenance operations at the catalytic cracking unit of the Shazand Refinery, Fars reported Feb. 6.

Shazand produces gasoline based on Euro 4 standards. Iran’s total gasoline production is about 65.84 ml/d, of which 22 ml/d is based on Euro 4 standards.

According to an official document, prepared by Oil Ministry and seen by Trend, Iran imported 10.8 ml/d of Euro 4 gasoline during the nine months of current fiscal year that started on March 21, 2016.

Fars reported that the refinery would resume operations in a week.
