Azerbaijan produced 1.04 million tons of oil products in 1Q17 that is by 6.5 percent less than in the same period of 2016, said a report of Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee.
Fuel oil accounted for 30.3 percent of the total volume of petroleum products consumed during the period, gasoline for – 28.1 percent, diesel fuel for – 26.4 percent, naphtha – for 5.1 percent, kerosene and aviation fuel – for 2.8 percent, oil bitumen – for 1.7 percent, liquefied gas – for 3.7 percent, lubricants for – 0.8 percent and other types of oil products – for 1.1 percent.

The reserves of commercial gas in the country stood at 6.8 billion cubic meters in the 1Q17.
In 2016, the use of the main types of oil products in Azerbaijan totaled 4.1 million tons, which is by 10.7 percent more than in 2015.
