Nearly 50 mln tons of Kazakh oil exported through CPC

Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) exported 49.97 million tons of Kazakh oil in January-October 2018, Kazinform reported referring to CPC.

This is 11.28 percent more than in the same period of 2017.

Meanwhile, in October this year, oil exports through CPC amounted to 5.11 million tons compared to 4.65 million tons in the same month last year.

CPC pipeline system is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. Major CPC shareholders are Russia (31 percent), Kazakhstan (20.75 percent), Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium Company (15 percent) and LUKARCO B. V. (12.5 percent).
