National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) has announced the distribution of Euro 4 gasoline throughout country.
The process of national distribution of Euro 4 gasoline is to start soon in many provinces including Kerman, Yazd, Sistan and Baluchestan, Bushehr, Semnan and Fars province, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"The NIOPDC is increasing the Euro 4 gasoline distribution in the country, the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company is committed to distribute 28 million liters Euro 4 gasoline per day by the end of Iranian year (March 20,2019)," said the managing director of NIOPDC, Mohammad Reza Mousavi Khah.
He noted that Euro 4 gasoline is currently being distributed continuously.
"The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company is set to increase production and distribution level to 40 million liters per day that would cover 80 percent of country's consumption," he added.
Mousavi Khah indicated that Euro 4 gasoline is currently being distributed at 166 gas stations in big cities and 163 road stations.
"Drivers can find out more about the Euro 4 gasoline distribution program through a gasoline station finder app," he said.
The Euro 4 standard that was established in January 2005, is concentrated on cleaning up emissions from diesel cars, especially reducing particulate matter (PM) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx).
