The largest petrochemical products sales center in Iran is set to be commissioned, said Ali Mazaheri, Executive Director of Iran’s Petrochemical KALA Company, Trend reports via ISNA.
The center will be opened in the Mahshahr County of Iran’s Khuzestan Province, located in the south of the country.
Mazaheri added that a contract with Iranian Petroleum Industries Equipment Manufacturers Association has been signed.
“As per the contractual agreement, the Petrochemical KALA Company will supply petrochemical facilities with domestic and imported equipment,” Mazaheri said.
Mazaheri said that the products previously on sale in industrial sales centers were imported goods.
“It is planned to mainly provide local products under the contract.”
The director said that due to the implementation of sanctions, the export of foreign equipment is currently facing many problems and limitations. Therefore, petrochemical companies should be informed about local markets and manufactured goods.
Industrial sales centers are depots meeting all the necessities of petrochemical companies and provide customers with necessary products at a short notice.
