Iran's jointly operated South Yaran Oil Field’s production increases, said Homayoon Kazemeini, Project Manager for Iran’s South Yaran Oil Field Development Project, Trend reports referring to the website of Iran’s Petroleum Engineering & Development Co.
According to Kazemeini, thanks to the efforts of the specialists from Petroleum Engineering & Development Co., 6 new wells have been added to the production of the field.
He added that the wells were improved and commissioned earlier than scheduled.
South Yaran Oil Field is one of the jointly implemented Iranian-Iraqi projects, located to the west of the Karun River and 130 km southwest of the Ahvaz County of Iran’s Khuzestan Province.
