Russian State Geological Company has offered Uzbekneftegaz technological solutions in geological exploration for the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan and third countries, Trend reports with reference to Rosgeo.
Rosgeo stated that the first meeting of working groups of the companies on the development of interaction was held in Uzbek capital, Tashkent.
"At the meeting, the representatives of Rosgeo acquainted the Uzbek colleagues with the main competencies of the geological holding, and also proposed a number of technological solutions in the field of geological exploration, which can be used to implement joint projects both in Uzbekistan and in third countries" the state holding said.
In addition, the companies discussed potential areas of cooperation, including joint exploration in Uzbekistan and neighboring countries, as well as the exchange of geological information and data. They also agreed to continue the interaction of the working groups and agree on the time of the next meeting.
The cooperation agreement between the parties was signed in October 2018 as a result of negotiations between President Putin and Uzbek President Mirziyoyev.
