In the last Iranian year (March 21, 2018-March 20, 2019), Iran broke the record in gasoline production and thus, the daily gasoline output exceeded 100 million liters, the spokeswoman of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) Ziba Ismaili said, Trend reports via ISNA.

In total, Iran's current daily oil and gas processing capacity is 2.1 million barrels, Ismaili said.

Of this amount, 1.7 million barrels account for crude oil and the rest - gas condensate of Persian Gulf Star Refinery, she added.

Presently, on the daily basis, over 40 million liters of Euro 4 and Euro 5 gasoline are produced at the Persian Gulf Star, Ismaili said.

Persian Gulf Star Refinery is located in Bandar Abbas county of Iran's Hormozgan province.
