The revenues obtained from the sale of oil in Iran's state budget for the next Iranian year (to start on March 21, 2020) will be replaced by energy subsidies, new tax revenues and government revenues, Iran's Vice-President and Chairman of the Plan and Budget Organization Mohammad Baqer Nobakht said.

İmportant reforms will be carried out in the budget for the next Iranian year and the transactions will be simplified in the coming years, Trend reports referring to the organization.

"There must be a clear and transparent program in the organization’s committee to reconsider its expenses. Thus, the reforms should be carried out without any obstacles," said Nobakht.

Iran allocates the subsidies worth about $45 billion for energy carriers per year. Iran is the leader in this field in the world.

For example, the price of one liter of gasoline in Iran reaches 10,000 rials ($0.23 according to the official exchange rate and $0.08 according to the exchange rate in the black market).
