Trilateral memorandum on strategic partnership in energy conservation and energy efficiency was signed in Berlin between Kazakhstan and Germany, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kazakhstan’s ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.
The signing took place within the framework of two-day official visit of Kazakhstan’s President Kassym Jomart Tokayev to Germany. The memorandum was signed by Kazakhstan’s Electric Power and Energy Saving Development Institute, Kazakhstan’s Atameken national chamber of entrepreneurs and DENA German Energy Agency.
As reported, the document is aimed at development of long-term and sectorial master plan for implementation of projects in energy conservation and energy efficiency, and increase of energy efficiency of industrial and civil facilities in Kazakhstan in 2020.
At the same time, the use of modern German expertise in introduction of modern technologies in the corresponding area in Kazakhstan is overseen.
DENA is Germany’s center of expertise for energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and intelligent energy systems.
DENA develops solutions and puts them into practice, both nationally and internationally. In order to achieve this, DENA brings together partners from politics and industry across all sectors.
