A well # 77 was drilled at the Khangiran gas field of East Oil and Gas Production Company in Iran’s north-east Razavi Khorasan province, Trend reports referring to the company.
“After the commissioning of the new well, 1.3 million cubic meters of gas may be extracted daily,” the company said. “This well was drilled and put into operation within 84 days. The foundation for two liquefied gas reservoirs was also laid at the Khangiran gas field. Some 140 billion rials (about $3.3 million) will be spent for the construction.”
The East Oil and Gas Production Company operates under the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company. The company activities include gas extraction at Khangiran and Gunbadli fields.
The company produces 62 million cubic meters of gas daily. Presently, the company has 65 gas production wells.
