Daily natural gas refining at Iranian gas refineries increased by 69 million cubic meters in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 21-July 21, 2020) compared to the same month last Iranian year, Spokesman for National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Mohammad Asghari told Shana news agency, Trend reports.
According to Asghari, at present, Iran's gas refineries process 703 million cubic meters of natural gas per day.
The spokesman added that an average of 634 million cubic meters of gas was processed per day in the same months last Iranian year.
“Overhaul of Iran's gas refineries, the spread of the coronavirus epidemic have not created any problems in the refining of natural gas in Iran, and the refining continues to grow,” he said.
Iranian gas refineries processed an average of 674 million cubic meters of gas per day in the third month of the current Iranian year (May 21-June 20, 2020).
The gas processing capacity of Iran's gas refineries is estimated at 1.03 billion cubic meters per day.
