Oil bitumen imports to Georgia declined by 31.1 percent in January-July year-on-year, Trend reports via the Union of Oil Products Importers.
As reported, in July 2020 Georgia imported 16,100 tons of oil bitumen, up by 500 tons (3.2 percent) compared to June 2020 (15,600 tons) and down by 3,200 tons (16.6 percent) compared to the same period of 2019 (19,300 tons).
Some 68.9 percent of imports were carried out from Azerbaijan (11,100 tons), 26.1 percent from Iraq (4,200 tons), 5 percent from Russia (800 tons).
In January-July oil bitumen imports to Georgia made up 57,200 tons, down by 25,7600 tons compared to the same period of 2019 (82,900 tons).
In the reporting period, 59.3 percent (33,900 tons) was imported from Azerbaijan, 19.6 percent from Iraq (11,200 tons), 13.3 percent from Iran (7,600 tons), 5.6 percent from Russia (3,200 tons), 0.3 percent from UAE (200 tons), 0.3 percent form Turkey (200 tons).
