The gas condensate processing of Iran’s Parsian Gas Refining Company increased by 9 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20 - September 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Executive Director of the company, Farshid Abdali said, Trend reports citing National Iranian Gas Company’s official website.
The director said that the company processed 3.88 million barrels of gas condensate during the reporting period.
“Also, the company processed 10.3 billion cubic meters of gas within 6 months,” Abdali added.
The director noted that at the same time, the company's gas processing increased by 8 percent.
Abdali stressed the increase in gas production is considered a success for the company in the current context of US sanctions against Iran and the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Iran’s Parsian Gas Refining Company is the second-largest refining company in Iran and supplies about 12.3 percent of Iran's total gas consumption.
