Kazakhstan decreases crude oil exports to EAEU countries

Kazakhstan has exported 62,079 tons of crude oil including gas condensate worth $14.4 million to countries of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) over the period from Jan. through Nov. 2020, Trend reports citing the data of Eurasian Economic Commission.

The report said that this is 10.6 percent less in volume and 37.1 percent less in value than during the same period of last year.

The volume of crude oil including gas condensate exported to Russia was 61.591 tons worth $14.09 million, whereas export to Belarus equaled 489 tons worth $375,957.

Furthermore, during the reporting period of 2020, Kazakhstan has also exported petroleum products worth $83.7 million to EAEU member countries, which is 39.2 percent less than during the same period of last year.

Thus, some 83,692 tons of petroleum products worth $24.4 million were exported to Russia, 94,379 tons worth $22.2 million tons to Kyrgyzstan, and 32,261 tons worth 8.8 million tons to Belarus.

Kazakhstan has also exported 44.6 million liters of liquefied petroleum products worth $27.2 million to Kyrgyzstan during the reporting period, as well as 1.8 million liters worth $377,406 to Russia and 1.5 million liters worth $561,271 to Belarus.

In turn, natural and liquefied gas exports from Kazakhstan to EAEU member-countries amounted to $178.5 million, which indicates a decrease of 41.1 percent.

Thus, 153,213 tons worth $19.2 million were exported to Russia, 23,500 tons worth $1.6 million to Kyrgyzstan, and 5,982 tons worth $1.6 million to Belarus.

During the reporting period, Kazakhstan has also exported 7.05 billion cubic meters of natural and liquefied gas worth $117.5 million to Russia, as well as 227.8 million cubic meters worth $33.9 million to Kyrgyzstan.

The report said that during the reporting period Kazakhstan has also exported 1.2 billion kWh of electricity for a total of $13.7 million, which is 12.1 percent less in volume and 41.3 percent less in value.

Some 973.6 million kWh worth $13.7 million were exported to Russia, whereas 300,659 kWh worth 9,377 were exported to Kyrgyzstan.
