Iran's Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company is currently implementing 7 major petrochemical projects, Executive Director of the company, Rasoul Ashrafzadeh said at a press conference, Trend reports citing Shana news agency.

Ashrafzadeh emphasized that $563 million has been invested within these projects, and 456,000 tons of petrochemical products will be produced annually after the launch of 7 facilities.

The director added that about 4,000 people will be employed with the launch of these facilities.

“In addition, the research is underway on the construction of 7 facilities. With the construction of 7 facilities, it is planned to be spent 757 million euro and produced 461,000 tons of petrochemical products annually,” he said.

According to the Ashrafzadeh, 590,000 tons have been added to annually production potential with the launch of several facilities. An additional $700 million per year will be achieved with this production.
