Azerbaijan exported over 1.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January 2021, Trend reports with reference to the statistics report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
In accordance with the data, during the reporting period, the volume of exported natural gas totaled about $100.02 million.
Natural gas export in January 2021 accounted for 6.16 percent of the country's total export for this period.
Azerbaijan exported more than 12.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2020, which is by 0.8 percent less than in 2019.
During the reporting period, the volume of exported natural gas totaled about $2.2 billion (an increase of 7.2 percent compared to 2019).
