A well was discovered at the Alan gas condensate field with the production of natural gas and gas condensate in Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to the information, the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department (part of Uzbekneftegaz) is carrying out large-scale work to increase natural gas production.
In particular, along with the overhaul of wells, new production wells are being drilled at the fields.
It is reported that drilling of well No. 215 at the Alan gas condensate field of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department yielded results.
Drilling was completed on this well and a filter was installed in the interval of 2,783-2,950 meters.
After the well was completed, an industrial gas flow was obtained with a daily flow rate of 70,000 cubic meters and two tons of gas condensate.
It is reported that work is currently underway to equip the well and connect it to a gas collector.
The Alan gas condensate field is located in the Mirishkor district of the Kashkadarya region and was commissioned in 1979.
Earlier it was reported that the second compressor station was put into operation at the Alan field. It was noted that control over natural gas production at the Alan field is fully automated, and the compressor station was commissioned.
“It was decided to build a second compressor station in order to maximize the production of residual gas reserves at Alan field (25 billion cubic meters). This technological facility worth $75 million was completed by the general contractor of the project ENTER Engineering,” Uzbekneftegaz said.
