Azerbaijan has exported 59,720 cubic meters of natural gas worth over $8 million to Bulgaria from January through March 2021, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, in the reporting period, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover settled at nearly $6.66 billion in the first quarter of 2021, which is 2.6 percent less compared to the same period of 2020.
In the structure of foreign trade turnover of the country, exports amounted to $4.13 billion, having dropped by 1.6 percent on an annualized basis. The share of exports decreased by 0.53 percentage points over the year - to 61.47 percent of the total volume of foreign trade turnover.
From January through March 2021, imports to Azerbaijan amounted to over $2.53 billion, having decreased by 3.8 percent compared to the same period of 2020. The share of imports in the total turnover decreased by 0.55 percentage points - to 38.5 percent of the total imports.
The balance of foreign trade turnover on an annualized basis decreased by 6.6 percent but remained positive, totaling $1.6 billion.
