Kazakhstan decreases petroleum oils export to Austria

Kazakhstan has exported 199,793 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 74.6 million euros to Austria in February 2021, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan exported 504,679 tons of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 177.5 million euros to Austria over the period from Jan. through Feb. 2021.

Thus, the February volume of crude oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Austria is 34.4 percent less than in volume compared to January 2021 (304,886 tons) and is 43.08 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (351,040 tons).

February export value is also 27.4 percent less than in January 2021 (102.9 million euros) and is 54.7 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (164.8 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Austria amounted to $22.07 million from January through February 2021, compared to $21.9 million during the same period of 2020.

Kazakhstan’s export to Austria amounted to $137,250 from January through February 2021, compared to $1.5 million during the same period of 2020.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Austria amounted to nearly $21.9 million over the reporting period, compared to $20.4 million during the same period of 2020.
